Outcome
Faster Turnaround
Vessel scheduling relied on radio calls and manual logs, with yard-utilisation data scattered across separate terminal operator systems. Port management had no single view of vessel queues, berth occupancy or container-yard capacity.
This made proactive planning nearly impossible — congestion was only visible once it had already happened.
We integrated live AIS vessel-position feeds with the port's terminal management system, rendering both on a unified geospatial dashboard. A predictive model estimates berth availability windows based on current vessel speed, queue position and historical turnaround data.
The command-centre interface was built for a video-wall deployment, giving operations staff a shared real-time view during shift briefings.
